Hawaii Pacific University Athletics

Andria Kouta joins the Sharks from Lykeio Agiou Neophytou in Paphos, Cyprus. The Biomedical Engineering major brings an international background to Hawai?i Pacific as she begins her collegiate cross country career.

Before arriving at HPU, Kouta competed in both volleyball and swimming, playing libero and setter while developing a passion for athletics. She chose Hawai?i Pacific after years of dreaming about studying in Hawai?i, believing the university's combination of strong academics, athletics, student support, and diverse campus community made it the perfect fit. She remained committed to HPU despite receiving offers from other universities, crediting the university's scholarship support with helping make her dream a reality.

Outside of athletics, Kouta enjoys volleyball, swimming, hiking, reading, chess, volunteering, and spending time at the beach. Looking ahead, she hopes to become a biomedical entrepreneur while maintaining a healthy lifestyle and continuing to pursue her personal and professional goals.
