Dakota Kleindl, a 5’8 base and tumbler from Sammamish, Washington, joins the Sharks’ Acrobatics and Tumbling program with a strong background in cheer and gymnastics. A graduate of Eastlake High School, she competed under coach Casey Sullivan and contributed to two state championship-winning teams. Kleindl also competed at the national level, earning a fifth-place finish at NCA Cheer Nationals under coaches Traci Bruener and Brittany Hecker. At HPU, she is pursuing a nursing degree with aspirations of working in oncology or labor and delivery. She chose Hawai‘i Pacific for its welcoming team environment and the opportunity to live in Hawai‘i, a place she felt instantly connected to.
