Personal: Born in Honolulu, HI...is the child of Sonny and Pomai Recca…has six siblings; Makana, Sonny, Keani, Sanoe, Makamae, and Kawelu…Makamae and Sanoe are former HPU volleyball players...hobbies are going to the beach, sky diving, base jumping, hang gliding, paddling, hiking, dancing hula, and horseback riding…favorite foods are steak, Hawaiian food, and fried chicken…favorite athlete is here brother Keani…majoring in Communication…chose HPU because her sisters played here…in 10 years would like to have her master's and doctorate degrees, along with having her own family

Prior to HPU: Graduated from Kamehameha Schools Kapalama…played volleyball for Chris Blake…captain of her state champion volleyball team….selected to the Mizuno All-American third team…named Honolulu Star Advertiser Girl Athlete of the Week.

HPU: 2015- Played in 28 matches, starting 27 (107 sets)...averaged 4.08 points(437) and 3.55 kills (380) per set...recorded a .172 hitting average...added 12 assists, 28 aces, 291 digs, and 46 blocks...was selected to the All-PacWest Third Team 2014- Started all 26 matches (107 sets)…averaged 3.97 points (424.5), 3.61 kills (386) and 3.02 digs (323) per set…hit .205…added 20 assists, 17 aces and 37 blocks…named All-PacWest third team…selected as team MVP…made the Hampton Inn Wildcat Volleyball Invitational All-Tournament Team…had three 20+ kill games…posted a career-high 21 kills vs. UH Hilo (11/15)…hit .429 (16/4/28) vs. Dominican (10/25)…recorded a career-high 25 digs at Western Washington (9/9)…ranked fifth in the PacWest in kills per set 2013- Started all 28 matches (105 sets)…averaged 3.42 points (359.5), 3.06 kills (321) and 2.45 digs (257) per set…hit .228…added 19 assists, 13 aces and 45 blocks…named All-PacWest honorable mention...selected PacWest Freshman of the Week twice…posted a season-high 18 kills twice…tied the team season-high in points with 21.5 vs. UH Hilo (9/20)…recorded 21 digs vs. Cal State Stanislaus (9/14)…had a career-high six aces vs. UH Hilo (9/20)
