Personal: Born in Ft. Collins Colorado…parents are Tryg and Lynette Johnson…has three siblings Ariel, Kwyn and Tiana…her hobbies include rafting, hiking, biking, reading and spending time with family…Danika’s favorite foods are fish tacos, cheeseburgers and sandwiches…favorite movies are Miracle, Saving Private Ryan, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and Harry Potter…favorite musical artists are Coldplay, Mumford and Sons and Imagine Dragons…favorite athletes are Michael Phelps and Steve Prefontaine…Chose HPU to have the chance to live in Hawaii…Majoring in Health Science…In ten years she wants to be teaching PE/Health in Montana where she can be close to her family and possibly be a river rafting guide in the summer.

Prior to HPU: Graduated from Flathead High School in Kalispell Montana…played middle blocker in volleyball and was awarded First Team All-Conference…Attended North Idaho College in Coeur d’Alene Idaho where she played basketball…was named SWAC Champions and Region 18 Champions

HPU: 2014: Begins first season
