Previous Performance:  
HPU - 2019-2020: Started in all 29 games of the season averaging 16.1 minutes and shot an incredible 60.2% from the floor. She also grabbed 90 rebounds for an average of 3.1 per game. On defense Gambee tallied 11 blocks to go along with 15 steals

HPU - 2018-2019: Played in 32 games starting 3 of them averaging 9.3 minutes. She shot .319 from the field and picked up 76 boards for and average of 2.4 per game.  She also snagged 11 blocks along with 7 steals

HPU – 2017-2018: Makenna started her freshman season as a Shark playing in 27 games averaging 8.8 minutes per game. She totaled 72 points shooting 33.3% from the field and pulling down 72 rebounds including 24 offensive boards. On defense, she picked up 7 blocks and 12 steals on the year and shot 26-37 from the foul line (70.3%). She was also part of the PacWest Conference Champions team when they topped Point Loma 77-71. She recorded a season high of 9 boards against Minnesota State Mankato on 11/22/17.

What made you choose HPU?:  I fell in love with the team and the coaching staff. Every single player, no matter a senior or freshman, made me feel welcomed and cared for.  I loved the way they pushed each other in practice, the way the coaches pushed them in practice, and the overall atmosphere of the team. Also, HPU has a very strong business program which is what I’m interest in.
