Personal: Born in Jacksonville, Florida… parents are Steve and Kathy Neal and has one older sister Amanda… Jamie enjoys reading, swimming, bike rides, playing basketball with friends and hanging out with family and friends… favorite food is pasta… favorite movies are Avatar and The Sandlot… music artist Blink 182… favorite athletes Fiona McKenna and Alex Deir… majoring in elementary education and chose HPU for the great opportunity and experience… in 10 years would like to be complete with college and have a successful job.

Prior to HPU: Ran cross country and track under coach Rose Mathie… lettered all four years of high school in track and cross country… qualified for districts and regionals all four years of cross country and qualified for the state meet sophomore year… earned the MVP in cross country junior year… ran cross country and track at Iowa Central Community College under coach Dee Brown… freshman year team won nationals in cross country and half marathon and were the runner ups in outdoor track… qualified for the 10k placing 5th… sophomore year team won nationals in cross country… qualified for the 10k in outdoor track.

HPU: 2014: begins her second season. 2013: Ran in 6 races with 5 top 10 finishes... Pacwest final 5 list twice... selected to All - Conference... PRs: 5k time of 18:08.
