Born and raised in Ewa Beach, Hawai‘i, Coach Mariah’s love for the game of soccer started early and quickly became a lifelong passion. She played four years of varsity soccer at James Campbell High School (Division I) while also competing in club soccer with Leahi Premier and Rush, totaling seven years at the competitive youth level. Her dedication to the sport led her to Graceland University, where she played collegiate soccer in the NAIA’s Heart of America Athletic Conference. While at Graceland, she studied Psychology as well as Corrective Exercise & Performance Enhancement, combining her academic and athletic interests. After college, she continued her playing career at the semi-professional level with Kansas City Courage.
Beyond her personal playing career, Coach Mariah has established herself as a highly qualified trainer and coach. She is a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength & Conditioning Association, and a Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) through NASM.
