Hawaii Pacific University Athletics

Sarah Inafuku joined the women’s soccer coaching staff at Hawai‘i Pacific University as an assistant during the Fall 2021 season. 

The former Waianae High School soccer standout returns to the islands after spending six years in Arizona. Inafuku attended and played for NCAA Division I Grand Canyon University of the Western Athletic Conference as an attacking midfielder and forward. 

Inafuku, an Academic All-WAC selection, graduated from GCU in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. 

Following her time at GCU, Inafuku used her final year of eligibility while pursuing a Master of Business Administration at Ottawa University Arizona. Inafuku helped the NAIA program complete one of their most successful seasons and an appearance in the NCCAA championship match, while obtaining All-GSAC, NCCAA All-Tournament, and NCCAA and USCA All-America first team honors. She scored 10 goals during the 2019 campaign and led the Spirit with nine assists.
