Personal: Julia was born in Honolulu, HI to her parents Valerie and Francis Borges…she has three brothers Francis (18), George (19), and Raymond (23)…Julia’s favorite athlete is Sydney Leroux and she likes to listen to J Cole, Miguel, and Drake…Julia’s favorite movies are Mean Girls and The Hangover…her favorite foods are peanut butter, chocolate, and mochi… Julia’s hobbies include traveling, surfing, eating, trying new things, and people watching…Julia is majoring in Psychology and chose HPU for the small class sizes, Psychology program, and soccer program…in ten years she hopes to happy, healthy, and successful.
 
Prior to HPU: Julia played at Kaiser High School where she played soccer under head coach Adolf Samuels and track under head coach Dennis Stewart..as a soccer player she excelled and was a league honorable mention her freshman and sophomore years as well as being awarded second team honors her senior year....after high school Julia attended La Verne University where she played soccer and ran track...while playing soccer under head coach Antoinette Love, she was awarded seoncd eam honors  her sophomore and junior years.
