Personal: Stephanie was born in San Diego, CA…parents are Ralph Martinez and Melissa Ver Hoeve…siblings are Bailey Ver Hoeve (13) and Tyler Ver Hoeve (10)…her favorite athletes are Arjen Robben, Wesley Sneijder, and Heather O’Reilly…she likes to listen to music by the Fall Out Boy, The Arctic Monkeys, and The Killers…her favorite foods are pasta, sushi, and anything breakfast…her favorite movies are Inception, Law Abiding Citizen, and the Harry Potter Series…Stephanie enjoys playing soccer, watching Netflix, and spending time with friends and family…she chose HPU because she loved the ability to have the same atmosphere as SoCal and to play soccer…she is studying Computer Science...in ten years Stephanie hopes to be playing professionally in Europe while developing software for computer programs to aid mentally disabled children.
 
Prior to HPU: Stephanie attended Chaparral High School in Temecula, CA where she played as a midfielder for head coach Heidi Solis. Stephanie lettered in soccer for three years and was named second team all-league. She was also honored to the all-academic team three times.
