Coach Sherman joined the Sharks during the spring of 2015 to assist with the non-championship sand volleyball season.
With over 20 years of experience, Sherman played at the collegiate level in Indiana and has coached over 10 seasons. She specialized as a middle hitter in college where she was recognized on two all-tournament teams. After college she transitioned to the beach, where she still plays among AVP, EVP & FIVB professionals.
She currently coaches three different programs, a fundamental skills team, an indoor Jr. club, and a Jr. beach club.
Rachel will be assisting with HPU’s spring 2015 beach program and plans to attend HPU’s Global Leadership & Sustainable Development Master’s program next year.
