BYU-Hawaii 87-84 at the Cannon Activities Center. The loss drops HPU's record to 7-10 and 2-3 in conference. BYU-H improves to 9-4 and 4-0.

Kyle Allen chipped it with 10 points and seven rebounds. Off the bench Chapell had 12 points and Junior

Jet Chang led BYU-H with 29 points.
HPU next travels to California to take on Notre Dame de Namur on Janurary 25th, start time is set for 7:30 PST.

The Seasiders contined to control the second half, not until time had expired did HPU tie the game. Three clutch foul shots by Junior LaBrent Chapell with .3 seconds on the clock, sent the game into overtime. HPU again came back in the first OT, with Jason Jackson bottoming out a three to tie the game and force a second overtime. In the second OT BYU-H scored the last four points to hold on for the win.
