Personal: Born in Ewa Beach, Hawai'i...son of Shawn and Kathleen Steinhoff...has one brother Keoni (24)...nickname is "Steiny" or "Kam Kam"...enjoys body surfing, surfing, an playing basketball...favorite food is Italian and enjoys watching comedy and action movies...other favorites are music artists Lil' Wayne and T.I., and athletes Brett Favre and Kobe Bryant...in 10 years would like to be playing overseas and starting a family...also recruited by Linfield College, University of Puget Sound, and Lewis and Clark...majoring in Human Resource Management.

Prior To HPU: A graduate of Punahou School in Honolulu…averaged 15.4 points per game his senior season and led team to HHSAA State Title...earned Hawai‘i State Player of the Year honors...also lettered in football.

HPU: Begins third season. 2009-10: Saw action in 24 games...averaged just under two point per game...recorded six steals and five blocks on the season...also pulled down 43 rebounds and dished out 14 assists...had a career-high 13 points in 22 minutes of action in HPU’s overtime win versus Dominican University (2/10). 2008-09: Redshirted.
