Honolulu, HI (November 22, 2011) – Hawai'i Pacific Chaplain, Reverend Dale Burke, will be hosting the annual Thanksgiving meal at the Sea Warrior Center. After the meal, desert will be served at the Neal Blaisdell Center before the men's basketball game vs. Alaska Fairbanks.

At 11 AM, Rev. Burke will hold a 30 minute non-denominational uplifting chapel service followed by the meal at noon. At 1:15 PM, a shuttle will transfer HPU students and staff to the Blaisdell Center for desert. The basketball game will then begin at 2 PM. The cost is $5.

“The primary purpose of the event is to give students and staff a place to go for a traditional American Thanksgiving dinner. It a great opportunity to share dinner with the HPU community, eating all the traditional foods, complete with football on TV,” said Burke.
