Box Score KANEOHE, HI (November 2, 2013)—The Hawai`i Pacific Men's Soccer Team (8-5-2, 6-3-1) dropped its final home match of the season on Saturday, falling to Academy of Art (9-5-3, 6-3-2) 2-1 in overtime.

The Sea Warriors controlled much of the possession in the first half, but it was the Urban Knights who struck first on a well-placed shot from nearly 25 yards out in the 10
th minute.

HPU freshman
Erik Kemsies answered in the 16
th minute when he redirected a cross from
Felipe Silva to tie the game at one goal apiece.

The Sea Warriors held a 6-4 shot advantage in the first period, but the game would go to the break tied at one.

Despite a scoreless second half, both sides had their chances to score.

HPU appeared to take the lead in the 59
th minute when freshman
Kona Gaison nailed a cross into the back of the net, but the offside flag had been raised.

Sea Warrior's goalkeeper
Mael Lefebvre kept his team in the match late, turning back a trio of Urban Knight scoring chances in the waning minutes of regulation.

In overtime, the Sea Warriors nearly ended it on a
Brais Garcia opportunity that was stopped by the AAU keeper. The Urban Knights would hit the golden goal just seconds later, on a shot from the top of the 18 yard box that deflected off the post and went in for the 2-1 win.

Chris Fisher commented on his team's final home match, "It was an exciting end to a game that could have gone either way. Unfortunately, it did not go ours. I wish we could have pulled this one out for our seniors."
