Women's Soccer Tripped Up at Azusa

Box Score Azusa, CA (September 30, 2013)—The Hawai`i Pacific Women's Soccer Team (2-5) dropped game two of its mainland road trip, losing 2-0 to Azusa Pacific (5-1-1).
 
The two sides locked up in a tight defensive battle in the first half with Sea Warrior Keeper Anu Kahele-Manners making a pair of saves to keep her team in the game.
 
Hawai`i Pacific would pick it up offensively in the second half putting three of their seven shots on target. The Cougars also picked it up offensively, finally breaking the scoreless tie in the 60th minute. APU added an insurance goal in the 76th minute to earn the 2-0 victory.
 
Kahele-Manners finished the match with three saves for HPU while Lexi Cameau paced the Sea Warriors with three shots.
 
The Sea Warriors now head to Riverside, California to face California Baptist on Thursday October 3rd. Kick off is scheduled for 1 p.m. PST.
