Box Score HONOLULU (January 16, 2016) – The Hawaii Pacific men's basketball team relied on a balanced scoring effort with five players reaching double figures to fend off an energetic Academy of Art University squad, 79-72, in PacWest Conference action at Blaisdell Arena.
 
The victory marked the seventh consecutive win for the Sharks who also won their seventh game in eight tries at home thus far.
 
The Sharks (11-4 overall, 6-2 PacWest) received 19 points, seven assists and four rebounds from senior guard Chauncey Orr, while guard Jordan Martin energized the squad with 17 key points including five 3-point buckets.
 
Forward Luke Hager and post player Elliott DeFreitas posted 13 and 10 points apiece.
 
Senior forward Joel Feigler scored 12 points, pulled down three rebounds and blocked three shots—his 20^th rejection in the last seven games. The Las Vegas native and Central Arkansas transfer is averaging 13.3 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.33 blocks per game this season.
 
The Urban Knights (4-11, 2-7) received a game-high 28 points from Jase Harrison.
 
HPU returns to the Blaisdell Arena to host nationally-ranked conference foe California Baptist on Jan. 21 at 6:30 p.m.
