Box Score HILO, Hawaii (January 23, 2016) – A buzzer-beating jumper by Parker Farris propelled UH Hilo to a 66-64 victory over the Hawaii Pacific men's basketball team in a PacWest Conference matchup.
HPU, which had its eight-game winning streak snapped, went on a 14-5 run down the stretch to take the lead with less than three minutes remaining in the game
With 19 seconds to play, and with his team trailing by one,
Jordan Martin missed a 3-point attempt but got the rebound and was fouled, resulting in two free throws. He made the second of two freebies to tie the game, but Farris drained the game-winning jumper as the game clock expired.
The Sharks (12-5 overall, 7-3 PacWest) received 14 points from senior
Chauncey Orr, who also racked up eight rebounds, three assists and two steals. Martin drained three treys on the afternoon and notched a double-double via 12 points and a team-high 11 rebounds.

Luke Hager scored nine and corralled seven rebounds, but struggled to contend with Hilo's aggressive, physical defense; the forward made just three-of-12 from the floor.

Joel Feigler scored 12 points, pulled down three rebounds and blocked a shot—his 24
th rejection in the last nine games. The Las Vegas native and Central Arkansas transfer is averaging 12.7 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game this season.
The Vulcans (4-10, 4-6) received a game-high 33 points from Jordan Russell, who scored 25 in the first half and helped Hilo establish a 36-29 halftime advantage.
HPU returns to Oahu to host Chaminade in a PacWest clash on Tuesday, Jan. 26 at 6:30 p.m. at Moanalua High School.
