SAN FRANCISCO – Hawai'i Pacific University scored in the 87th minute to beat Academy of Art 1-0 on Sunday afternoon at the CCSF Soccer Field.
 
The Sharks (5-8-1, 4-3-1) made it a three-match winning streak and handed the Urban Knights (2-9-2, 1-7) their fifth straight loss.
 
The Sharks got the victory when freshman Soraya Santos of Pearl City, Hawai'i/Pearl City received a high cross from freshman Marcella Chan of Foster City, Calif./Aragon and finished it with a shot to the far post for the contests only goal with 3:14 remaining.
 
The Sharks blasted 19 shots against the Urban Knights, with ART U goalkeeper Jordyn Wight recording seven saves along with the game-winning goal.
 
The HPU defense allowed ART U just seven shots in the game, with sophomore goalkeeper Madi DePhillips of Tacoma, Wash./Bellarmine Prep posting her fourth shutout, second consecutive, complete with three saves.
 
HPU wraps up its Northern California road trip on Tuesday when the Sharks visit Fresno Pacific for a 2 p.m. HST (5 p.m. PDT) match at Ramirez Field.
