HILO, Hawai'i. - On Saturday afternoon, the Hawai'i Pacific women's soccer team looked to move their unbeaten streak to three against #6 Hawai'i-Hilo.
The Vulcans showed why they are considered in national championship discussions as they went up 3-0 in the first half.
In the second half, Hilo scored two more goals in the opening minutes but
Carissa Miller was able to convert on a penalty kick to break up the shutout.
The match ended in a 8-1 loss for HPU and the Sharks look to shake this one off as they gear up for their final home stand of the season.
HPU will return to the pitch this Thursday, Oct. 12th, as they face off against Chaminade to close out the Honolulu Derby doubleheader..
