Hawai'i Pacific University Athletics is deeply saddened by the tragic passing of Ishmael Smith of West Virginia State University. We extend our heartfelt thoughts and prayers to Ishmael's family, friends, teammates, and all those impacted during this incredibly difficult time.

Out of respect, Thursday's Hoops in Hawai'i game has been canceled. Additionally, the Hawai'i Pacific University vs. Alaska Fairbanks men's basketball game originally scheduled for Saturday has been moved to Friday at 5:45 p.m.
