Surprise, AZ - HPU Men's Tennis lost to Point Loma this past weekend to end their run in the conference tournament. It was a valiant effort from the Sharks as they took the opening match from FPU and battled all the way till the end, losing to Point Loma by a score of 4-3.

Mile Matic and Finnegan Heber both won gritty singles matches with both of Matic's sets going into tie breakers which he won 7-5. Heber took the first set but was beat badly in the second set 6-0. However, he was able to bounce back and take the third set in a tiebreaker, 7-5, to secure the victory. The combination of Matic and Heber also took a set in the doubles match by a score of 6-2. Both Matic and Heber proved in the tournament that they are 2 of the best players in the conference as they were pretty much perfect in match play throughout the tournament.
