Azusa, CA - The HPU Men's Tennis team fell to APU in their regional match to conclude their season. Although they were not able to advance, it was a very successful season for the Sharks as they competed in the PacWest tournament and earned a trip to a regional.

 

The All-Conference doubles combination of Mile Matic and Finnegan Heber easily won their set, however the Sharks dropped the other 2 sets of doubles play. Both of HPU's all conference players were able to make things interesting in their singles matches, but fell as the Sharks were swept in the singles matches.

 

Overall it was another strong year for the Sharks. They won moment of the year at this years Sharkys awards with a thrilling victory over the University of Hawaii at the start the year. The HPU Tennis program has remained one of the top programs in the nation for many years and we are all excited for their excellence to continue next year.
