Sharks Explode for 19 Runs in Senior Night Win Over Chaminade

WAIPAHU, Hawai'i — Hawai'i Pacific delivered a dominant performance on Senior Night, erupting for 19 runs in a 19-1 win over Chaminade at Hans L'Orange Park. The Sharks honored their 14 seniors following the game.

HPU wasted no time setting the tone, jumping ahead in the first inning behind a two-run home run from Tyler Arnold. The Sharks continued to build momentum before breaking the game open with a seven-run fourth inning and an eight-run fifth.

Arnold delivered a historic night at the plate, launching three home runs and finishing with eight RBIs to lead the offensive surge. Noah Hata added a strong performance with four runs scored and three RBIs, including a triple during the Sharks' fourth-inning rally.

The Sharks' offense remained aggressive throughout, totaling 16 hits. Kan Taguchi recorded two hits and two RBIs, while Ethan Murakoshi added two hits and an RBI. Owen Wessel and Jevon Raboy each drove in runs as HPU continued to add on late.

On the mound, Jacob Vanek earned the win in relief, combining with Garrett Sinfield, Cristian Garcia, and Jett Ah Sam to limit Chaminade to just one run on five hits.

Hawai'i Pacific improved to 25-19 overall, closing out the night with one of its most complete performances of the season before celebrating its senior class.
