Personal: Haley was born in Waterloo, Iowa to Eric and Andrea Doerfler. She has two siblings, Malea (19) and Tessa (15). She is an English Literature major and is an asspiring high school teacher. Her favortie musical artists are Tim McGraw, Josh Kelley, Jason Aldean, Jake Owen, Toby Keith, Aaron Lewis, and Kenny Chesney. Her favorite athleates are Phil Dalhausser, Leonel Marshall, Lamarcus Aldridge, and Brandon Roy. Her hobbies are rafting, reading, attending church, spending time with friends, photography, and swimming. She enjpys pineapple, tea, chocolate, and Mexican, Italian, and BBQ foods. her favortie movies include Singing In the Rain, Footloose, Grease, and Harry Potter. She came to HPU to because of the team, English department, and the culture.
Prior To HPU: Doerfler is an all-state selection and league MVP from Battle Ground, WA. A team captain and scholar athlete at Prairie High School, Doerfler also excelled at the club level winning the JO National Champions in the American Division while being named to the all-tournament team. This year she was nominated as the Oregon Sports 6A/5A Female Athlete of the Year. Played for Andrea Doerfler, Rod Jones, and Michael Seemann.

: Started all 28 matches… led the team in hitting percentage with a .309… hit .500 against BYU – H… led the team in blocks with 117, 13 vs UH - Hilo… was nominated to the third team All – PacWest. 2012: Earned PacWest Honorable Mention honors...Doerfler started all 25 matches posting 188 kills while hitting .340...she also was a force on defense recording 96 total blocks (led team)...Doerfler ranked 15th in the conference in hitting percentage and 8th in blocks...hit a career-high .450 (12-3-20) vs. Western Oregon on 9/6/12...had a career-high three aces vs. Seattle Pacific (9/1/12)...had a career-high nine total blocks twice.Â
2011: Doerfler played and started 25 matches, earning 171 kills (1.8 per set) with a hitting percentage of .217….Accumulated 80 total blocks to lead the team…Was third on the team in total points (227)…Also had seven aces, 15 assists, and 34 digs…Had a huge day against Dixie State (10-25-11) with 17 kills and hit .448 (a team game high for 2011)…Had eight blocks against Colorado Christian on 9-9-11 (a team game high for 2011).
