Prior to HPU: Attended Chaffey College in Rancho Cucamonga where he played basketball for Coach Jeff Klein…awarded Player of the Year for the Foothill Conference, 1st Team All-State, and named a Top 100 Players in California Junior Colleges...led his Chaffey College squad to a berth in the 2013 CCCAA State championship game before falling to Mt. San Antonio College...in his two-year career at Chaffey the team amassed a 45-19 record...his sophomore campaign he averaged 15.8 points a game on nearly 40% shooting from both the field and three-point land

HPU: 2014-2015: Begins second season at HPU. 2013-2014: Long played in 24 games...had a .454 shooting percentage, dished out 53 assists, pulled down 80 rebounds, and was credited with 18 steals...Long led the team in three point percentage (.438), free throw percentage (.891), and points (444) averaging 18.5 per game...Long was awarded player of the week in December, when he scored for 19 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists in the win over BYU - Hawai'i...he was selected to the Final Five three times and was awarded PacWest First Team Honors.
