Personal: Born in Boise, Idaho…is the child of Buck and Terri Sawyer…has a brother, Harry (22)…hobbies include swimming, reading, hiking, biking and skiing…enjoys seafood…favorite movies are Harry Potter, How the Grinch Stole Christmas and 8 Seconds…her favorite music artists are Dave Matthews Band, John Mayer, Mat Kearney and The Head and the Heart…favorite athletes are Mireya Luis, Micah Christenson and Courtney Thompson…majoring in Forensic Psychology.

Prior to HPU: Sawyer is out of Eagle High School in Eagle, Idaho, she gives the Sharks many options going forward as she's both a talented setter and outside hitter. She's been selected First Team All-Conference in 2013 and 2014 as well as winning Eagle HS Athlete of the Year in those years. The 5'11 member of the 2014 State Champion Academic Team, also played her club ball for Rise Volleyball Club.

HPU: 2015- Played in 14 matches (31 sets)...recorded 83 assists, 18 digs, two blocks, and one ace
