Personal:  Born in Melbourne, Australia…parents are Paul Murphy and Giselle Messer...favorite hobby is playing basketball…favorite foods are Japanese food and my dad's lamb roasts…favorite movie is Gamer…favorite artists are Drake and Kendrick Lamar…favorite is Tom Lauments…chose HPU for the opportunity to play college basketball while getting a quality education...in 10 years Tyba would like to be happy and successful…currently majoring in Physiotherapy.

Prior to HPU:  6-3 guard from Australia who will have four years of eligibility. Murphy recently played with the Keysborough Cougars, averaging 7.2 points per game.
