Biography

Personal: Born in Waipahu, HI to parents Joanne and Sam Kaina…has one sibling, Rachel (18)…favorite hobby is soccer...favorite athlete is Megan Rapinoe…favorite food is spaghetti…favorite movie is How to Train a Dragon...enjoys listing to any good music…chose HPU because for the academics, soccer team and to stay close to home…is a Pre-Physical Therapy major...in 10 years she hopes to be living a stable life and making a decent living in the field of physical therapy
 
Prior to HPU: Played soccer at Kamehameha Schools-Kapalama as a midfielder for Head Coach Melissa Moore...won team MVP in 2012 along with an all-league honorable mention...selected to the HHSAA second team in 2013 and 2014...honored with an All-Tournament Team selection in 2014.
 
HPU: 2015- Started 11 of 17 games...played 1,139 minutes...shelled out 1 assist, recorded 1 point...took 12 shots, 4 of those shots being on goal for a  33.3% shot on goal percentage 2014- Appeared in and started 17 matches…scored one goal…took 18 shots, seven on goal…scored the game winner vs. Western Oregon (9-11)
