What Made You Choose HPU: Daniel was drawn to HPU by the influence of Dane Fujinaka.

2023 (Junior):  

• Appeared in 22 games with 19 starts, all from behind the plate  

• Led all catchers in number of runners caught stealing (10)  

• Produced four multi-hit games and two multi-RBI games 

• Recorded his best offensive performance against the Academy of Art (04/11/23), finding two hits, plating two RBIs, and scoring two runs   

• Finished the season with a .988 fielding percentage  

• Went 5-for-6 on stolen base attempts
