Ava-Rose Whitmer is a creative and versatile attacking midfielder from Ewa Beach, Hawai‘i. At James Campbell High School, she excelled under coach James in soccer and coach Wyatt in track, competing in multiple positions on the field and sprint events such as the 4x100 relay and 100-meter dash. In her senior year, she earned Offensive Player of the Year honors, helped lead her team to an OIA Division I Championship, and was named to the HHSAA All-Tournament Team. Ava chose HPU to continue her soccer career while pursuing a degree in Biology, with aspirations of becoming a physical therapist. Off the field, she enjoys surfing, hiking, and spending time at the beach.
