Elisabeth Ray is a multi-sport athlete from Ouray, Colorado, competing for the Sharks in cross country. At Ouray High School, she participated in an impressive range of sports, including basketball, volleyball, soccer, climbing, track, cheerleading, and cross country, earning a varsity letter and 12 bars. Under coaches Eric Demuth, Bernie Pearce, and Brian McDowell, she developed her competitive drive and leadership skills, serving as volleyball team captain. Elisabeth chose HPU for its strong marine biology program, unique hands-on learning opportunities, and the welcoming atmosphere of the cross country team. Outside of running, she enjoys music, painting, hiking, photography, swimming, and reading.
