Lua Maffia is a creative and technical center attacking midfielder from Newberg, Oregon. A two-sport athlete at Newberg Senior High School, she earned varsity letters in both soccer and basketball while playing under coaches Scott Diephenbaugh and Luke Lindell. Lua’s vision and playmaking ability on the pitch earned her multiple All-League honors during her high school career. She joins HPU looking to make an immediate impact while continuing to develop her game at the collegiate level.
