Jaeda “Beanz” Abcede, a 5’7 biology major from Ewa Beach, Hawai‘i, joins the Hawai‘i Pacific University softball program after competing for the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa. A versatile athlete, she has excelled in both the outfield and middle infield positions throughout her career. A graduate of James Campbell High School, Abcede played under coaches Shag Hermosura and Keahi Kapana, developing a strong defensive presence and consistent approach at the plate. Off the field, she enjoys spending time at the beach, drawing, photography, and journaling. Abcede chose HPU for its close-knit environment and the opportunity to continue her softball career in Hawai‘i.
