Biography

Joss Brandl joins the Sharks from Rancho Cucamonga High School in Rancho Cucamonga, California. The 5-foot-10 right-handed pitcher is pursuing a degree in Biology with a concentration in Human Health Science at Hawai?i Pacific.

Brandl was a three-year letterwinner and competed as both a pitcher and utility player under head coach Tony Garcia. She earned MVP honors in 2023 before being recognized as Pitcher of the Year, Coaches Award recipient, and Second Team All-League in 2026, highlighting an outstanding prep career.

Brandl chose HPU because of the connection she built with head coach Alex and her belief in the vision for the softball program. She looks forward to continuing her development both on the field and in the classroom. Away from softball, she enjoys pickleball, traveling, thrifting, and hiking.
