Mission Viejo native Naomi “Omi” Cummings joins Hawai‘i Pacific University softball as a versatile pitcher and first baseman. A varsity standout at Trabuco Hills High under head coach Brenden Murphy, Cummings brings both talent and poise to the Sharks’ rotation. Off the field, she enjoys beach days, baking, shopping, and spending time with loved ones. Drawn to HPU for its family atmosphere and connection to her Hawaiian roots, Cummings is pursuing a degree in Business and Finance with aspirations of becoming an accountant.
