Personal: Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota…parents are Darry Jones Sr. and Yvonne Wymer…has three brothers Kevin, Corey, and James…nickname is Dino…hobbies include playing hockey, watching movies and cooking…favorite movies include Step Brothers, The Wood, Love and Basketball and Shawshank Redemption…Darry enjoys listening to Future, Drake and Bob Marley…his favorite athletes are James Harden, Kyrie Irving and Lebron James...chose to attend HPU because of the promising basketball program…majoring in Justice Administration…in ten years Darry wants to be a detective and a high school head coach.

Prior to HPU: Graduated from Robbinsdale Cooper High…played shooting guard under coach David Johnson…was named Captain of the team and awarded All-Conference...Darry also attended Des Moines Area Community College in Boone, Iowa…played shooting guard under coach BJ McGein…was awarded ICCAS Second Team All-Region...began his collegiate career at Southwest Minnesota State, was one of three true freshmen to play during the 2010-2011 season before redshirting in 2011-2012

HPU: 2014-2015: Begins second season 2013-2014: Jones played in 24 games...led all gaurds on the team with a .475 shooting percentage and 87 rebounds...recorded 36 assists... was fourth on the team with 268 points
