Hawaii Pacific University Athletics

Blais grew up in Youngstown Ohio where he has been playing golf since the age of five. After his dad took him to the driving range on day, he loved it ever since. He been mostly self-taught for the majority of his life, after his dad taught him the basics, up until about two years ago.  
 
He graduated, in the spring of 2012, with an AAB in Golf Complex Operations and Management from the Golf Academy of America. Golf is his true passion in life, and he really can’t see himself doing anything with his career choice that doesn’t involve golf. He enjoys the competitive play more than anything, he thrives off of it. His life goal is to make it on the PGA tour and to make a living playing the game of golf.
 
When he is not golfing, Blais enjoys exercise, video games, and bicycling. His golf idols are Fred Couples and Seve Ballesteros. 
 
Blais is redshirting in his first season at HPU.
