California native Angelica “Jelly” Oseguera joins Hawai‘i Pacific University softball after a decorated career at Monrovia High School under head coach Marcel Mayorga. A four-year varsity standout, Oseguera earned numerous honors, including Team MVP (2x), Rio Hondo League First Team Pitcher, Second Team Pitcher, Honorable Mention, and Athlete of the Week recognition.

Known for her command in the circle and her competitive mindset, Oseguera brings both talent and leadership to the Sharks’ pitching staff. She chose HPU to fulfill her lifelong dream of studying and competing in Hawai‘i while pursuing a degree in biology with aspirations to one day open her own physical therapy clinic.
