A decorated backstop from Southern California, Brianna “Bri” Rodela joins Hawai‘i Pacific University softball after an impressive prep career at San Pedro Senior High under head coach Johnie Cortez. A team captain and multi-year standout, Rodela earned First Team All-Marine League (2022–2025), First Team All-LA City (2022, 2024, 2025), and City of San Pedro Player of the Year honors twice. She was also recognized as Freshman of the Year, Team MVP, and All-Area Catcher, solidifying her reputation as one of the top catchers in the region.

Rodela brings a mix of leadership, defensive skill, and offensive power to the Sharks’ lineup. Drawn to HPU for its culture, location, and opportunities for growth, she looks forward to contributing both on and off the field as she pursues her degree in business management.
