Isabel Obaob joins the Sharks from Mountain House High School in Mountain House, California. The 5-foot-5 left-handed outfielder is pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice at Hawai?i Pacific.

Obaob was a four-year varsity player who competed in both softball and volleyball during her prep career. Playing under coaches Allison Noble and Louis Lopez, she earned Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2023, Offensive Player of the Year recognition in 2024, Second Team All-League honors in 2023 and 2024, and First Team All-League recognition in 2026. She also contributed as both an outfielder and pitcher during her high school career.

Obaob chose HPU because it offered the opportunity to pursue her education while continuing to play the sport she loves in a location known for its culture and natural beauty. Away from the field, she enjoys going to the beach, surfing, drawing, and listening to music. Looking ahead, she hopes to build a career as a paralegal while maintaining a healthy balance between work and family.
