California native Maddy Gonzalez joins Hawai‘i Pacific University softball as a versatile outfielder with experience across multiple positions. A product of Tesoro High School, Gonzalez helped lead her team to a CIF Championship and Regional title under head coach Leena Blake. She continued her success at Fullerton College, where she contributed to a state championship team and earned All-American Scholar-Athlete honors.

Off the field, Gonzalez enjoys visiting art museums, cooking, going to car shows, and spending time at the beach. Her love for competition and commitment to personal growth extend beyond softball, as she aspires to one day work for the FBI. Gonzalez chose HPU for its strong criminal justice program, stunning island setting, and the unforgettable experiences she had competing in Hawai‘i during her time at Fullerton College.
