Biography

Personal: Afoa was raised by parents Brenda and Kennedy Afoaalong with siblings Kelsey(23), Kayla(16), and Kimball(12)…hobbies include sports and going to the beach…favorite foods are anything Hawaiian…favorite movies are anything by Nicholas Sparks…favorite musical artist is The Green…favorite athlete is David Beckham…major is social work…in ten years hopes to be a social worker…chose HPU for the opportunity to play in front of friends and family.
Prior to HPU: Afoa, a Punahou graduate, returns to Oahu after two seasons at Peninsula College. Afoa dominated the Northwest Athletic Conference winning regional Player of the Year honors in 2012 and 2013. In 2012, she was named the 2012 NWAACC Baden Athlete of the Year after scoring 23 goals and adding nine assists. She led Peninsula College to a 23-1 record and its first NWAACC title in school history.
