Hokulani Mose is a defensive midfielder from Tacoma, Washington. She graduated from Curtis Senior High School, where she competed in soccer, flag football, and basketball. During her prep career, she earned Athlete of the Year honors in flag football, First Team All-League recognition on both offense and defense, Second Team All-League honors in soccer as a defender and midfielder, and Second Team All-State recognition.
Mose enjoys playing sports, drawing, doing nails, hiking, watching movies, listening to music, spending time with family and friends, trying new activities, and being around animals. Her favorite foods include lumpia, sushi, noodles, and dumplings. She enjoys watching Hacksaw Ridge, Rampage, I Am Legend, and The Blind Side, while her favorite musical artists are Bruno Mars, Frank Ocean, and Billie Eilish. Her favorite athletes are Simone Biles, Lionel Messi, and Cristiano Ronaldo. Mose chose HPU because of its Marine Biology program, the family atmosphere created by the coaching staff and team, and the opportunity to be closer to family. In 10 years, she hopes to be traveling the world with family and friends while helping make a positive impact on the environment and oceans.
