Biography

Personal: Born and raised in Bellingham, Wash. to parents Monaca and Kent Nelson…has three siblings Jordyn(23), Kanyen(17), and Marinn(14)…hobbies include yoga, adventuring, and hiking…favorite foods are spinach and rice…favorite movies are Wild and Finding Nemo…favorite musical artists are Jhene Aiko…favorite athlete is Sydney Leroux…major is math education…in 10 years hopes to be a high school math teacher…chose HPU for the location and opportunity to live in Hawai’i and play soccer.
Prior to HPU: Nelson, out of Port Angeles, Wash., transfers in from Peninsula College. During her sophomore campaign she scored five goals and dished out two assists. The forward, who played her high school ball at Bellingham, also has two seasons of eligibility remaining with HPU.
