Lavinia Vaipulu joins the Sharks as a graduate transfer after competing at the University of California, Riverside and California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. The 5-foot-6 midfielder from Riverside, California is pursuing a master's degree in Criminal Justice Administration at Hawai?i Pacific.

Vaipulu began her collegiate career at UC Riverside, where she earned a spot on the 2023 Big West All-Freshman Team. She later transferred to Cal Poly Pomona and helped the Broncos capture back-to-back CCAA regular season championships in 2024 and 2025, the 2024 CCAA Tournament Championship, and the 2024 NCAA Division II National Championship. Prior to college, she attended John W. North High School, where she competed in both soccer and swimming under head coach Katie Rumfola.

Vaipulu chose HPU for its Criminal Justice Administration graduate program, the team's close-knit culture, and the opportunity to compete at a high level in the PacWest Conference. Away from the field, she enjoys swimming, listening to vinyl records, and spending time with family.
