Mary Frances Sluga is a defender from Eugene, Oregon, who joins Hawai?i Pacific after competing at both Lane Community College and Catawba College. During her collegiate career at Catawba, she helped the program capture the South Atlantic Conference (SAC) regular season and tournament championships.

Sluga graduated from Sheldon High School in Eugene, Oregon, where she competed as a defender and midfielder. She earned First Team All-League honors as both a junior and senior, was named the team's Most Valuable Player during her senior season, and served as a varsity captain.
