Tia Trinidad is a defender from Kaimuki, Hawai?i. She graduated from Kalani High School, where she earned four varsity letters in soccer. Trinidad was a two-time OIA First Team selection (2024-25, 2025-26), received OIA Honorable Mention honors in 2022-23 and 2023-24, earned State Honorable Mention recognition in 2025-26, and was named Kalani Girls Soccer MVP during the 2024-25 season.

Trinidad enjoys going to the beach with friends, surfing, practicing yoga, trying new foods, hiking, traveling, and shopping. Her favorite foods include potato chips, Panda Express Orange Chicken, and chow mein. She enjoys watching To All the Boys I've Loved Before and Aladdin, along with Disney movies. Her favorite musical artists are Ariana Grande, Frank Ocean, and Bad Bunny, and she enjoys listening to R&B along with a variety of other genres. Alex Morgan is her favorite athlete and was a major inspiration throughout her youth soccer career. Trinidad chose HPU because of its diverse and welcoming community and strong academic environment, which she believes will help her grow both academically and personally. In 10 years, she hopes to be a pediatric dentist living on O?ahu and operating her own practice. She is the daughter of Russ and Yoshika Trinidad and has one younger sister, Happy.
