Martin helped pace the No. 14 Sharks defensive effort in a pair of PacWest wins this week to maintain their lead in the conference. He averaged 9.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.0 steals a game. Chalked up seven rebounds (six defensive) against Notre Dame de Namur with six points and four assists, while collecting a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds (all defensive) with three assists in the Sharks win at Hawai'i-Hilo. The Sharks held opponents to 39.6 percent from the floor for the week, outrebounded them by 7.5 boards a game, while forcing an average of 4.0 turnovers more during the week.
