The PacWest Conference Freshman of the Week, Alysha Marcucci, a 5-11 freshman forward from Melbourne, Australia/Marist-Sion scored 19 points and eight rebounds with a steal in leading the Sharks to a 73-42 victory over cross-town rival Chaminade in the Sharks only game of the week. The victory propelled the HPU women to their 12th straight win, equaling the school record set in the 2010-11 season.
 
Marcucci connected on 4-of-10 from the 3-point arc in the win and hit all five of her free throw attempts. She also picked up a steal as she helped the Sharks hold Chaminade to its lowest scoring output of the season.
